Once you’ve enabled the module, SPP will start sending pageview and conversion data to GA. To get a view funnel data like in the image above you will need to set up a conversion goal in GA.
- In Google Analytics go to Admin > Views > Goals
- Click + New Goal
- Choose Custom and click Continue
- Enter the following values and click Continue:
- Name: Complete purchase
- Type: Destination
- Enter the following values and click Save:
- Destination: (Regular Expression) /thanks/(.*)
- Funnel: On
- Step 1:

- Step 1:
Here’s a screenshot of the settings applied:
It’s recommended to enable the User-ID feature which helps Analytics track client’s purchases from different devices. You can do so in Admin > Property > Tracking Info > User-ID.
To track sales in Analytics you’ll need to enable e-commerce tracking in Admin > View > Ecommerce set-up.
Tracking Individual Forms
You can create conversion goals for each of your forms by repeating the steps above and using your form ID instead of the wildcard selector (.*) in funnel steps.
For example, if your order form’s URL is https://clients.agency.com/order/912BB206 then your form ID is 912BB206 and you would create the conversion goal like the screenshot below.
Note the goal destination is /thanks/(.*)?orderform=912BB206 because in this case (.*) is responsible for Order ID.
